Teaching Tips - GeneralDon't Help Them Too MuchSometimes we can make the mistake of giving our children too much help. Don't help your children too much. Sometimes it's best to let them sweat it out a bit, as long as they are trying. When someone is struggling with a problem, usually they are learning. If they quit struggling and want to give up, encourage them. If they still want to give up, ask them questions to help them to figure out the answer. Help them to explore for the answer. If all else fails, then help them directly by giving them the answer (and of course, also by showing them how to find or figure out the answer next time). But if they get it themselves, after struggling for the answer, they will rejoice in their success. And it will also help them to be more persistent when facing difficult problems.
